We are excited to announce the details of the NZJSBA 2025/26 Tri-Series!
Three huge rounds of racing between our clubs, finishing with the premier event, the NZJSBA Nationals at Oriental Bay, Wellington

R1 – Petone (North Island Champs) 29th/30th Nov
R2 – Christchurch (South Island Champs) 21st/22nd Feb
R3 – Wellington (NZJSBA Nationals, Oriental Bay) 21s/22nd Mar

What’s on the line?
– Amazing trophies across all Tri-Series titles
– Points from all three rounds (no drop rounds) 
– The prestigious NZ #1 Plate awarded at Nationals (Ski GP & Runabout NZJSBA Stock)

Classes for Runabout & Ski
From Juniors to Masters, Novice to Open – there’s a class for everyone! Minimum 3 entries per class/5 per race. Full details on poster.

Regulations
This season runs under the 2025 IJSBA Rulebook + updated NZJSBA regulations, with a strong focus on safety, fairness & compliance.

Event Overview

Location: Petone Beach, off Marine Parade (beside Hikoikoi Reserve)
Dates:

• Friday 28 November – Registration & Course Setup
• Saturday 29 November – Day 1 Racing
• Sunday 30 November – Day 2 Racing + Prizegiving
  Prizegiving: Sunday 30 November, at Baylands Brewery on conclusion of racing.

Weekend Schedule (approx)

FRIDAY – 28 NOVEMBER

4:00pm – 5:30pm – Early Registration/Late Entries
4:00pm – 6:00pm – Early Safety checks
4:00pm – 6:00pm – Course Setup & Marshall Briefing

• Early scrutineering helps reduce Saturday delays.
• No skis to launch Friday unless assisting with course setup.

SATURDAY – 29 NOVEMBER (DAY 1)

8:00am – Registration & Scrutineering Opens
9:00am – Riders Briefing (Mandatory)
9:30am – Orientation Laps / Practice
10:00am – Racing Begins
12:30pm – 1:00pm – Lunch Break
1:00pm – Afternoon Racing
Approx 4:00pm – Day 1 Concludes

SUNDAY – 30 NOVEMBER (DAY 2)

8.00am – Registration Re-opens
8:15am – Riders Briefing
8:45am – Warm-Up / Orientation Laps
9:00am – Racing Commences
12:30pm – Lunch Break
1:00pm – Final racing
Approx 3:30pm – Racing Concludes
Prizegiving at Baylands Brewery on conclusion of racing.

At any stage a ski may be requested to be tech checked over the weekend to ensure adherence to the rules

Pre-Registrations have closed for this event, If you were planning on entering you can still turn up on Saturday and enter at Registration – Make sure you are there by 8am for registration.
