Foxton River Social Ride

Come along for a cruise on the Manawatu River.

This is not a race, Family friendly, Passengers allowed.

Meeting at 10am at the Manawatu Marine Boating club car park at Foxton Beach – MAP LINK –

The team will be at the boat ramp with the registration paperwork to fill out prior to the ride.

There will be a short briefing before the ride with some safety and other information

There is a $10.00 ramp fee for using the boat ramp provided and maintained by the boating club, please bring $10.00 in cash to pay this.

As we are affiliated to the NZJSBA all riders must have at least an NZJSBA social license, These are $20.00 and can be purchased on the day of the ride – Social licenses are valid for the season (Season runs 1st November – 31st October).

Departing 11am

We will be heading up the river for as long as our fuel or the conditions allow.

The river can get rough in spots depending on the weather on the day, so please wear suitable gear, Wetsuit, booties, gloves etc, Helmets are recommended.
