2023 Winter Enduros – Round 2

Layer up in your winter touring gear and join us for
Round 2 of our 2023 Winter Enduro Series.

We will be running a classic 100 mile race and some shorter races.

Foxton River,
Whirokino Bridge access roads
218 Matakarapa Road, Foxton

Meeting at the Boat Ramp, Manawatu River, Foxton from 9.30am for registration and launching.

Entry: $50 + $20 for day license if you don’t have a full NZJSBA license.

Program:

• 9.30am Registration
• 10.30am Riders Briefing
• 11am On the water
• 11.30am Racing to start

3 race options for Race 1

• Option 1 – 40 mile race
• Option 2 – 100 mile team of 2 racers
• Option 3 – 100 mile Ironman race

First race:

• All riders to start together
• After 40 miles, flag up for those who want to do short race, 100 milers must do another lap and then in for refuel. Teams are allowed to swap drivers/skis at this point. Race resume till finish 100 miles.
• Rest/Break…..20-25min rest

Second race:

• Sprint race 15 min + 1 lap

Things to know

• Venue: this venue is muddy. Bring your gumboots!
• An old towel to be used for refuelling
