Ride around Lake Taupo

Circumnavigate Lake Taupo!

Approx 160km ride leaving from 2 Mile bay heading around the lake clockwise with a lunch stop where we will have a BBQ with food and drinks provided.

• Passengers are welcome, all riders and passengers must be wearing helmets.
• You will need to bring a fuel container with 20 litres of fuel which will be taken to the lunch stop for you to top up your ski with.
• Any riders that do not hold an NZJSBA race license or have not obtained a social license at an NZJSBA event in the current season can register and pay for these at registration ($20) This is valid for the entire season.

Please note:
A ramp permit is required to use the launch ramp, these are available to purchase at local gas stations or can be purchased online here –

Your vessel must be registered to be used on Lake Taupo,
If you already have registration for another area of NZ you are fine using your current registration.
